Standard 5.20

We align our processes with the

Standard 5.20 of the California Standards of Judicial Administration which establishes uniform standards of practice for providers of supervised visitation. Its primary goal is to ensure the safety and welfare of children, adults, and providers during supervised visitations. Once safety is assured, the best interest of the child becomes the paramount consideration. This standard outlines the duties and obligations for both professional and nonprofessional providers, including qualifications, training requirements, and protocols for conducting supervised visits.
